In 2006, Lisa Currie moved to Florida from Brooklyn, NY with her husband and daughter. Lisa has a BA in English literature from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC). She received her teaching certification in secondary English grades 5th-12th from Towson University, also in Maryland.

     Currently, Lisa is certified in Florida for English grades 6 -12 and elementary K-6. She has completed three of the six reading endorsement courses and continues her Montessori education with Montessori Live as well. She is very excited to be a part of the dynamic middle school program as it continues to grow.
